Lentner was approached by one of the largest brand houses in the country. They had a large data set across multiple windows and Linux servers with a very tight timeline to migrate data into the cloud. The next challenge: the downtime for workers amidst large media projects needed to be minimal. There were many moving parts, including multiple outside vendors involved that needed help seamlessly carrying out the project with little to no cloud migration experience.
The end resulted in Lentner Technology moving 300TB of data into Dropbox, decommissioning 7 physical servers and training over 200 users on the product. Lentner was able to accomplish all of this with no access inside of the client’s network, structured pre and post user training and extensive project management enabling a near zero downtime migration. Lentner also worked closely with both an internal and external IT vendor contracted by the client to assist them in training their teams and providing long term product support.
